Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is composed of several standing and ad hoc committees, including Finance, Governance, Advancement, Technology, and Education. The Board is made up of a diverse group of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, expertise, and talents in service of Loretto Academy’s long-term mission and strategic goals. Each Trustee is deeply committed to the mission of the school and to ensuring its continued strength and success in educating our students as leaders of faith, integrity, and service.

The Board of Trustees is responsible for regularly reviewing financial reports, approving major policies, and supporting long-range planning and strategic initiatives that advance the mission of Loretto Academy. Please note that Board meetings are working sessions focused on governance and fiduciary responsibilities and are not open to the public. Committees may include parents to provide feedback on new strategic initiatives or to assist in evaluating current efforts and future planning outlined in the strategic plan. We deeply value this important and meaningful input.

Through collaboration and faithful stewardship, the Board of Trustees works behind the scenes to ensure that Loretto Academy remains strong, mission-driven, and well-positioned to serve students and families for generations to come.

How to Share Feedback or a Concern

Loretto Academy values open communication and partnership with families. When questions or concerns arise, we encourage parents and guardians to share them in a timely and respectful manner so they may be addressed thoughtfully and effectively. For most academic, behavioral, or classroom-related concerns, families are encouraged to begin by contacting the appropriate teacher. Many questions can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

If a concern is not resolved at that level, families may contact the school principal, or president if needed, for further support. The administrative team is committed to listening carefully, reviewing concerns thoroughly, and working collaboratively with families toward appropriate solutions.

Concerns related to student safety, well-being, or serious matters should be brought to the attention of school’s administration (counselors, principals and/or president) as soon as possible so they may be addressed promptly and in accordance with school policies and procedures.

Please note that the Board of Trustees does not handle individual student, parent, or staff matters. The Board’s role is focused on governance and long-term planning, and it is not involved in day-to-day operations or complaint resolution.

In some situations, confidentiality and privacy laws limit the information that may be shared regarding personnel or student matters. Families can be assured, however, that concerns are taken seriously and addressed with care, professionalism, and integrity. By working together with mutual respect and trust, we strengthen our school community and ensure the best possible environment for our students.
